December 1, 2021

FIVE TYPES OF TEMPERAMENTS

1) CHOLERIC:
Aggressive, task oriented individual who is people friendly. His/Her objective is to GET THE JOB DONE.

  • Their greatest need is RECOGNITION for what he/she has done. This quest for recognition drives him/her in whatever they are doing.

2) MELANCHOLY:
The thinker, genius prone. An individual who is quiet and prefers to be alone. He/she is able to socialize, but needs
quiet time. He/she is a perfectionist and does everything well.

  • Their greatest need is to be ENCOURAGED.

  3) SANGUINE:
Very people oriented. Very upbeat, optimistic, talkative, and active. NEEDS TO BE AROUND PEOPLE.  Does not like
to be alone or isolated.. They are NOT TASK ORIENTED.

  • Their greatest need is ATTENTION.

  4) SUPINE:
The SERVANT of all Temperaments. They will do anything for anyone. They are both PEOPLE AND TASK ORIENTED.

  • Their greatest need is APPROVAL.

  5) PHLEGMATIC:
The DIPLOMAT, easy going, peace at all costs, witty, and a hard to get motivating person. They are very detailed and
can work at tedious jobs for long periods of time without getting bored.

  • Their greatest need is to be INSPIRED.

CREATION - Psalm 139: 12-14 " For as you created my inner most being; you knit me together in my mother's womb, I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are so wonderful I know that fully well." We are created in the image and likeness of God. We are all different and unique. We think and act differently. We have different DNA, fingerprints, characters and personalities.
